BIOGAS STATION

Waste management in livestock enterprises is the future of  countryside. Because the waste primarily will be used as a source of methane and natural fertilizer, and not a place of concentration of unpleasant odors.

Subecon pig farm, which is part of the AIP community, starts operating in 2014 as a traditional business with a new approach. The farm managed to change the routine of the process with the help of a biogas station designed by the local engineer. Subecon turned waste into an environmentally efficient business tool in a few steps:  collecting animal manure, ist anaerobic digestion in a biogas station (BS) and then distributing  to the fields in the form of natural fertilizer Effluent©.

During the mass digestion pathogenic microorganisms disappear. And nutrition elements, that remain, directly affect the fertility of the upper layer of the earth and the quality of Organic-D vegetables.

Our land productivity management partner PLT laboratory is constantly selecting soil samples for the fertility level evaluation and further provision of crops with available  forms of nutrition elements and the need to use fertilizers.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

SUBECON BIOGAS station GENERATES

per day

  • Effluent© fertilizer volume 60 tons
  • Biogas output 1 200 m³
  • Electricity production 7 200 kW
  • Thermal energy volume 8 100 kW

how we use it

  • Vegetable fields fertilizing
  • Pig farm premises heating
  • Cereal drying
  • Village electrification

EFFLUENT© natural fertilizer

Agrochemical results of the natural fertilizer prove that EFFLUENT©:

  • Updates the humus layer
  • Reduces soil acidity
  • Doubles the availability of mineral fertilizers
